We’ve uploaded a brand new demo on our official MySpace site. Entitled “The Blues Inside” this is a home recording with all instruments performed by Kris. Concert cancelled because TrafoStation is closing down

Today we recieved the message, that “TRAFOStation” will be closing this weekend. Unfortunately the location needs to close because of insolvency.

As a result of this our concet on Friday 28th of November is cancelled. We are very sorry about this and we hope you’ll get this information in time.

Once again: Kris Pohlmann Band on Friday 28th of November is CANCELLED!

KPB rock Düsseldorf - Cafe a Gogo!

Well, firstly many thanks to all of you who came out on a Sunday (!!!) night to come and see our first ever Düsseldorf concert. Finally after 2,5 years we had a “Heimspiel”. And what a night! Cafe a Gogo in Derendorf is a great location, a very intimate club. Peter, the owner has a lovely crowd there, it’s a real musician meeting place. We met some nice people here and this is what makes gigging in places like Agogo so special. It was great talking to you all after the gig and Jürgen, a million thanks for your KPB Movie that was shown on the big screens! How cool is that? I could have watched the film all day, we’ll have to talk about a real KPB video… MTV needs to see this Also, check out Jürgen’s Blog here with all these great photos from the gig, the crowd, the whole thing captured on camera!

Dear Blues Rock Lovers!

This Saturday sees the live comeback of KPB after a live absence of almost 6 months! But it hasn’t been a period of inactivity as I’ve been busy writing songs for the next CD which we’re due to record in February. So, if you want to find out what the next CD will sound like then come and catch us live for a sneak preview of a new song or two… With new songs, a new set list and a few surprises this Saturday will be rocking! Hello!

Well, well, it’s certainly been a looooooong time coming and here we are Finally….The official website of KPB. Firstly, a million thanks to Elmar and Heike for their super work. We are very proud of this site and now you can keep up to date with all things KPB. The site is in English and German to enable us to work on our national and international presence! With radio airplay coming from as far away as Texas in the next months we need to make sure that everyone can understand who we are and what we are all about!

So what do we have here? Well first and for most all our gigs will be listed here so keep checking the site for where we’re playing next. We are currently working hard to get us out there on stage! The Media section has a lovely set of galleries for you to feast your eyes upon and then there’s KPT-TV our own TV channel of KPB in action live on stage.

If you like the music then you’ll be very happy to know that soundbites of our first CD ‘Heavy Pain’ can be heard here and the CD can be ordered via this site.

Concert organisers and press can download a wide range of KPB articles, flyers and photos to help promote our concerts.

And of course you can read all about us via the Biographies.

This site will be a valuable tool for us in communicating with our fans and for us to try and promote the band. The remainder of 2008 will be very busy for us as we prepare to make 2009 a year to remember. A new CD is in the pipeline, festival dates being planned and maybe our first international gigs. Keep in touch and don’t hesitate to contact us…. we’d love to hear from you!

New KPB Drummer

Elmar Stolley is the new drummer of KPB. Having helped out the Kris Pohlmann Band previously and for the first half of 2008, we can now confirm that Elmar is now officially on board! “Elmar helped us out in the past and knows us and our songs inside out. He’s a great guy, the chemistry is fantastic and it’s a real pleasure to make music with him. He makes us a better band!” says Kris of the new boy.
